1. Sign up online and deposit money onto the card. Click here to sign up by check (PDF download).

2. Your student can pick up their card at our convenient State Street office when they arrive in Madison.

3. Your student can use the card to shop for groceries, dine at and take out or request delivery from one of our participating merchants.

4. He or she presents the Red Card as payment, and the exact amount will be deducted from the account balance.

5. Keep track of the account by viewing balance and transactions online, here.

6. Add any amount of money to the card at any time online, via phone, or in person. Account balances carry over from semester to semester and year to year.
